How to receive your credit of $500 Towards Closing Costs (at Closing)?
Just complete the following steps:
Step 1. Complete one of our five hour Home Buyer classes.
Step 2. Work with Realtor/Broker Johna Beall MA to purchase your home or condo. Let her know you are interested in the Rebate and are planning to do the volunteer work.
Step 3. Work at least 5-8 hours at the charity of your choice as a volunteer. (Soup Kitchen, United Way organization, Humane Society or PAWS, Church, Mosque or Temple, etc) We ask that you work with any non-profit organization of your choice! Provide documentation to Johna from that organization that you have completed the volunteer hours.
Step 4. Present this verification at least ten days before your closing date so that your Realtors’ office, the escrow office and loan officer can prepare documents accordingly.

Step 5. Credit will be given by Johna Beall of RE/Max, at closing. It cannot be paid before or after closing, according to federal RESPA regulations. (One Credit per home purchase)
